how to tell if tracfone is AT&T or verizon?
How exercise i tell which network my sometime tracfone smartphone (not BYOP) used?
i understand that AT&T (GSM) sims need to be replaced once used but verizon ( CDMA) do not.
Can i tell the difference by the imei/ sim number?

is this correct?:
settings
> about phone
-> status
if both MEID and IMEI numbers - so CDMA (verizon)
if NO MEID number - then GSM (AT&T)
-
confirmed method:
sim carte number
first vi numbers with those below:
890141 + AT&T (GSM)
890126 + T-Mobile (GSM)
891480 + Verizon (CDMA)

At that place are several means to tell which network your Tracfone uses.
* Expect at the SIM number. The first 6 numbers of the SIM ID make up one's mind the carrier: 890126 = T-Mobile, 890141 = AT&T, 891480 = Verizon.
* Apply the phone model number. Model numbers ending with "C" or "VL" use Verizon. Numbers ending with "G" or "AL" use AT&T. Numbers ending with "BL" could be AT&T or T-mobile.
* Ship a text message from your phone to your email address. Look at the sending accost of the email. The carrier proper noun is in it.

Is in that location a manner to tell what network an iPhone from the Tracfone online store will be using?
I know it will come locked and to unlock information technology I will need to activate it and use the SIM that comes with it for 1 year, but I'd like to know what network it will be using earlier buy.
